  1. I just came across your blog as I was trying to find information about whipworms. I really enjoy your updates and writing style! I am currently dosed with hookworms and hope to try to add whipworms at my next dosing. There seems to be less written on human whipworms; your blog being one of the few things I’ve found. Do you know of any good research papers, etc?

Thanks and keep the reports coming! I’m going to add you to my blogroll if you don’t mind.

    • Hi Luke!

Thanks & glad to hear from you. I’ve long been a reader of LukEcology as your blog and Deborah’s blog were two that encouraged me to start a blog, since I think its really important to be able to read personal experiences, especially with this therapy.

Sadly, using human whipworm is a more lonely experience than even using hookworm for IBD. There is simply not much information about it, and unfortunately the research that is out there is using Weinstock’s method with pig whipworm. If anyone has research papers related to human whip it would be AIT or the yahoo group research section.

I am in contact through email with a few other people using human whipworm for UC, but there little else for personal experience beyond scouring yahoo message board.

Thanks for adding my blog! I’m pretty sure I have yours on mine but i’ll double check. Good luck with your redosing with hookworm and maybe whipworm. Despite some recent pain I’ve been reading about, do you feel that the hookworms have been helpful overall?

I also plan (if things are going well 5-6 months from now) to eventually add in hookworm, especially since my IBD is not “purely” UC but rather has often been described to me as Crohns-Colitis.

  2. I am currently hosting both hookworm and whipworm. 35 hookworm that I got in April and I drank a vial with 2500 whipworm when I met Jasper in the middle of August. They should be maturing right about now I think. How many whipworm ova did you ingest?
I just started a blog too, there’s not much there yet but I will start posting soon.

    • Hi Herbert. Great to hear you’ve achieved remission with NA and TT!

I took 1,000 TT ova four months ago. Seems to be working well, but ultimately I’d like to host both hookworm and whipworm, for benefit.

I’ll be reading your blog with excitement!

Hi! I have UC (possibly crohns, though no markers) and am currently taking ldn. it’s helped keep me stable, but I’m seriously looking at the worms. I live in LA, so I will most likely go to mexico for my treatment. Thanks for keeping your blog updated, it’s great to follow a success story, and I appreciate the treatment details. Hope you continue to find relief with the treatment! Best, Amy
